Al grew up in Rugby, ND and Mary grew up in Mandan, ND, they married in 1982 and have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. Al has been in leading roles in businesses for most of his career and Mary was in education until we decided to open our first business in 2009 in Minot, ND called Wings & Rings, a franchised restaurant.
Wing City Sports Bar & Grill is a locally owned and operated family business in Bismarck, ND. We all live in the Bismarck – Mandan area and have been in the restaurant business since 2009, owning and operating Wings & Rings a franchise restaurant in Minot and Bismarck.
We decided not to renew the franchise agreement for Bismarck and re-brand this location to Wing City Sports Bar & Grill, a locally owned and operated company providing our guests with the ultimate sports bar & dining experience.
In the time our restaurants have earned many awards – Franchisee of the Year, Community Service, #1 Volume Store for annual sales amongst Wings & Rings Franchises , Best Service award among Wings & Rings Franchises, Community Service Award, and our son earned General Manager of the year Wings & Rings Franchises, and also voted by local communities in Minot & Bismarck “Best Wings”.
We look forward to offering our guests the best wings, sandwiches, & burgers while enjoying a cold beer or one of our delicious cocktails.
